Validation is the official recognition of the academic
equivalence of university studies carried out abroad,
independently from whether a certificate has been
issued when finished and that allows to continue such
studies in a Spanish university.
Validation
corresponds to the university where the student in
question wishes to continue studying.
The
effects of the validation of partial studies (subjects)
are usually merely academic, given that such validation
allows to continue studying within the educational
system. Such studies shall conclude, where appropriate,
with the obtention of the corresponding Spanish certificate,
once the subjects of the applicable curricula have
been passed. Such final Spanish certificate will have
all the necessary effects.
